i had to do a do over!

so yesterday i go to get my mail, and theres the latest allyou magazine! now i always get excited about this. im giddy as i set up to give it a look through and as i do, BAM, another BOGO coupon for NYC nail color! so i quickly make a decision to go to CVS for "toilet paper"...lol. heres my freebies.......

these are the NYC in a new york color minute in "east village" and "little italy". there are priced at $1.99. i used the BOGO coupon on the BOGO sale and paid zip!

i had a $4.49 ECB that i forgot the night before, and a $1 ECB from the night before, so i headed back over to the rimmel section.............

this is the rimmel trio eyeshadow in "maritime" it was $5.99 on a BOGO sale.

this is "tempting". on these two i used 2 $1 coupons and paid the rest with ECB's! i had $1.48 in ECB's toward the "emergency TP" that i went out for....lol. my oop was $2.30 plus tax! not bad and DH felt like he got a deal on the TP....lmfao! he didnt realize that the TP was outrageously priced, and i had free make-up 2 days in a row so i didnt care..lol

ya, i know i havent been tellin my tales lately, but im here now........lol. this week rite aid was the target, and target them i did! i got 12 of those nice nivea lip care things, plus, i wound up with 12 packages of stayfree pads....all for free!!!!! just ask me how.....lol. now i normally wouldnt even talk about such items like pads, but im bursting at the seams over the hit they took from me this week. why isnt everyone doing this???? i look at folks now and just think, 'sucker, i have a Q for that', but on the other hand i used to be a dummy with cash too.....lol. paying crazy prices for the things you really need in life and a few of the things i simply wanted. these days with my new found love of coupons and and my deal seeking eagle eye, im living as i never have been able to. now im not saying that im all ritzy titzy or anything like that. in fact i live straight up in the hood. and im not eating filet mingon(sp?), i eat tacos and casseroles.....lol. normal stuff because im normal folks. what i am saying is that im able to have some extra things that i never was able to afford, like those over priced air fresheners, good conditioner, all the new stuff that comes out and some of the old stuff as well. point is i would advise you to clip a coupon here and there. maybe if someone leaves an ad laying around open to a sale page, you might wanna see whats on sale that week......... im just sayin!!

Walgreens........

Today I took a trip over to Walgreen's. This is not one of my favs but thats only because I havent been here a lot, yet! Really I only needed some diapers and toilet paper, but you know that I cant go in a place like that and not do my deals.....lol. Well, they had the Aussie line on sale for $2.99 and they also had the Roots of Nature on sale for $6. Now these came with $2 and $6 in "register rewards or RR's", plus you know I had to be using my precious coupons as well. Oh yeah, and they had angel soft toilet paper on sale for $4 and I had a $1 coupon for that as well......lol. Anyways............... my total before coupons was $22.29 before the sky high Cali taxes, and it was $13.12 after taxes and me walking out the door! Now tell me, is there anything sweeter than getting your store deal on???? Well, is there? I didn't think so!

This is just a quick note on my cashier and experience from today. She was the best......lol. Young girl and she knew what was up and didn't try to give me an attitude because of my coupons. Actually.....lol.....she looks like someone I know from online! Next time I go in maybe I'll just ask her if its her. Cant hurt. This Walgreen's is at Imperial and Atlantic Bl. in the city of Lynwood. This is maybe my third time going to this location and I have yet to have an issue with their employees or service to the customers. This store was clean, neat, and well lit.

Rite-Aid again (alondra & downey)

I honestly cant really belive that im posting on the same Rite-Aid again so soon, this not only proves the point i'm trying to make but emphasizes just how prevalent the problem is here in SoCal. Last night my sister goes into Rite-Aid for two Air-Wick FreshMaticatic Ultras (that are marked in the ad as %50 off ) and 2 of the $6 coupons that they just came out with in last Sundays paper and when she is in line the manager (yes the same one that wouldn't accept my Rite-Aid coupon) come and tells her " you cant get two of those, there is a limit of one!" Sister says, " well, the ad dosent say that so why cant I?"..... this punk ass manager says "well, i'm going to go write it on the tag right now!". My sister left with one and came and told me........okay, now they really are trippin! I went in this morning and hit then up , but the same manager was not in and i told the employees what happend and they agreed that that manager is out of control. So I just told them that I was contacting corporate about he situation, and they were basically like "good". I'll let you know how this one turns out.

Kroger "semi" resolution

Yesterday I finally got a reply back from the Kroger company! I really was not satisfied with the way they handled my complaint but at least I now have a copy of their coupon policy that says I can indeed use my Internet coupons even though it has some really stupid regulations on it, I'm gonna print it out and have it handy for the stores that wanna try to deny me savings. So for now I will probably go back to Food4Less but trust and believe I'm just waiting for them to start trippin on me. I may even venture over to Ralph's with their ridiculous coupon policy....... my thing all along has been not really knowing what I'm walking into beforehand. I'll keep you posted!

Ralph's Coupon Policy!!!!!

Just want to share my irritation with the coupon policy over at Ralph's!

First off, they advertise "Double Coupons Everyday!!!". I find this statement very misleading. Why, you ask? It seems that they only double up to a dollar and i thought that meant they would double my coupons face value up to a dollar....not so. If your coupons value is over fifty cents then you are NOT getting a "doubled coupon". Now I don't know about you all but my coupons are for a dollar or close to all the time so I really could never fairly get doubled coupons from them.

Secondly, they are running a "triple coupon event". Just refer to my rant about the double coupons and you will know why I'm irritated!!!!! The reality is, if your coupon is for 33cents or less then it will be tripled, this is true. I wish they wouldn't try to trick customers into the store with straight up bull like this.

Last but not least, if you are buying multiples and using coupons........just don't bother with this store. they will only "double" on the first one. Example.....getting 3 Colgate's using 3 coupons for 50 cents each, they will double the first one to $1 and the rest will be for face value! I think this policy and them suck!

I hope I'm able to help someone have a clear view on this, i wish i would have known instead of thinking they were one way and then being disappointed after trying to get my double coupon on with them.
