here was my rite aid experience today.

2 herbal essence conditioners $2.49ea.......$4.98 theres a $1.50 scr on each
2 gillette body washes $2.99ea..............$5.98 theres a $2.99 scr on just one
2 V05 conditioners .79 cents each...........$1.58

i had a $3 scr
2 $1 herbal essence
1 $4 off two coupon

i had also tried to use a BOGO coupon on the bodywash but the cashier wasnt having any of that!

i ended up paying $4.76 oop, and submitted $5.99 in for s-c-rebates!!!

it still was a good trip, but i feel like i should stood up about using all my coupons. my mom had went to the same store earlier that day and when she did the same deal it went without fail! she said i should stood my ground and gotten the manager!!!! maybe next time i wont be such a wussy shopper....lmbo

they wouldnt take my coupons....

today i went to CVS and was going to use a coupon for a free got2b smoothing lotion and a coupon for a free got2b mousse when you buy any got2b product. this shoulda been so easy, but of course, it wasnt. first the cashier calls the manager over and he is scrutinizing the mess outta my coupons (one was a printed coupon, only making him REALLY not want it!), then he says that in order to use both of those Q's i would need to be getting 4 products! i asked why and he said "you cant use both of those on just the 2 items", i didnt feel like a fight so i told him to take off the mousse and to give me my coupon back (the printed one). so the cashier reluctantly gave it back.......lol. then he moves onto the cashier for the free product. he says it wont scan and that if it wont scan he cant override it!!!!! so im there, like are they serious?!?!?!? i also had a schick hydro in my basket. this is the only thing that DID work out for me so heres how i worked it.....lol

i wanna add that the got2b coupons were for one of my bzz campaignes. so looks like i wont be a bzzing bee on that one and ill have to let "the hive" know that the coupon didnt work. ill try it again at another location, but i wont have my hopes up!

i paid $1.98 plus tax for everything which works out to $3.77, and i have to add that i paid that small balance off a gift card that i got from mypoints.com that i got for free! all i do i simple read e-mails. at the end of the day i walked with $6.23 left on my gift card and $8.00 ECB's that i got from this trip! im all excited......lol

late night CVS run

last night i made a really quick CVS run. they had some really good deals going on and i had to get in on them....lol. heres what i picked up........


dry idea $2.69 w/$2.00 ECB i picked up two of these, that was the ECB limit! (if youve been keeping up with both of my blogs, you know that i have givin dry idea millions thumbs up!)
**$5.38 for both, $4 ECB's back! thats $1.38 for both!**

crest pro health $3.50 w/$3.50 ECB limit two and thats what i got!
**$7.00 for both, but i used a $1 coupon & $0.75 coupon! i paid $5.25 and received $7.00 back in ECB's!**

kotex U $4.99 w/$4.99 ECB, this had a limit of one!
**i used a $1 coupon, so thats $3.99 oop, with a $4.99 ECB!**

my subtotal was $14.62 and i got $15.99 ECB's...yay, overage!!!!!!

rite aid and JAESON

i went over to rite aid last night. as soon as i saw the BOGO sale in the ad i started laughing to myself....lol. me + rite aid + BOGO = interesting trip! i had 3 $4 nivea body wash Q's, and 2BOGO cover girl Q's. here's what i did.

nivea body wash is on sale for $3.99 ea....$11.97 for 3 used $12 worth of Q's (this is a .03 cent overage, for those that don't know)!!!!!
cover girl make up is on a BOGO (i tried to match up prices so i wouldn't get screwed! didn't quite work out)
i had 2 items that were both $8.49. so after the BOGO and BOGO Q these both were free!
the next 2 items were $7.59 and $6.99 the sale took the $6.99 off so i would have assumed the the checker would key in the remaining price. he took off $6.99, so i got got for 60cents!!!! minus the 3cent overage, i guess i paid 57 cents plus tax...lol.
i also got 2, 6 packs of raisins for the kids ($1.69each) and fiddle faddle ($1.99) for my grown man kid....lmao
after tax and everything my oop was $8.67

now let me take a minute to evaluate "jaeson" that was working the register over there last night. first off i hate going to this rite aid because i can never really tell where the line starts! its so ghetto in there. when i get up to where the line should be im the only one. so im standing there thinking of the free makeover imma give myself when i can finally get home with my cover girl! lol. well, there are only two cashiers and the "line" is starting to form around me. notice i didn't say behind me or next to me! so i keep saying "the line is over here". through all this i hear the customer in "jaesons" line having some kinda problem using her debit card. im like crap! im using a debit, but i wait patiently. she ended up having to pull out cash. so as soon as i get up to the register, i ask "is the atm working". well, "jaeson", looked at me like i had just walked in from outta swamp, and said "ya", with some irritated sneer on his face. he proceeds to ring up my items and then i pull out my precious coupies....lol this seemed to baffle him to say the least....lol. he says "hold on" and stands there going over the Q's for like 5 minutes. then he starts price checking everything all over again, then rereading the coupons again. i hate when they act like this, it makes me feel like im trying to pull a scam! finally he starts to scan them in. as i explained he didn't do it quite the right way, and its my bad for not catching him. if i would have had my trusty coupon policy with me i would have shut him down, just for being rude.

i needed some band aids tonight. so......it was the perfect excuse, so this is the deal i put down.
2 dove conditioners (reg $4.99)...2/$6..used 2 $1.50 coupons and i will submit the SCR for $3....this is 2 for $3.00 & FREE after rebate!!!
3 packages stayfree ($4.29 ea)....$1.99 ea...used 3 $2.00 coupons....this was a $.03 overage!!!
2 bottles pantene conditioners (reg $4.99ea)...$4.99 on a BOGO...used 2 $3.00 coupons...that's 2 for $1.01 overage!!!
2 boxes band aids 60ct with neosporin packs!($3.99)....sale $1.99 ea....used two ad coupons for $.50 ea...and 2 $.50 manufacture Q's.... that's 2 boxes for $1.98
retail total is $40.81..........
i paid a total of $3.94 plus $2.04 tax= $5.98oop!!!!

after i submit my rebate and get it back that means i actually paid $2.98 on all this!! that's $.98 without the taxes for all this name brand stuff!!!

I'm so happy that i got to the sale before they were sold out. my list originally had Listerine for 2/$6 as per the ad..... when i was in the store it wasn't all Listerine like the ad would have you think. so i had the cashier take them off all together. so i still didn't get everything i went in for, but i still felt all smug at the checkout...lol. my retail before tax was $40.81, and being as i walked out for $5.98 after taxes i couldn't complain about ish.....lmao
