Walgreens........

Today I took a trip over to Walgreen's. This is not one of my favs but thats only because I havent been here a lot, yet! Really I only needed some diapers and toilet paper, but you know that I cant go in a place like that and not do my deals.....lol. Well, they had the Aussie line on sale for $2.99 and they also had the Roots of Nature on sale for $6. Now these came with $2 and $6 in "register rewards or RR's", plus you know I had to be using my precious coupons as well. Oh yeah, and they had angel soft toilet paper on sale for $4 and I had a $1 coupon for that as well......lol. Anyways............... my total before coupons was $22.29 before the sky high Cali taxes, and it was $13.12 after taxes and me walking out the door! Now tell me, is there anything sweeter than getting your store deal on???? Well, is there? I didn't think so!

This is just a quick note on my cashier and experience from today. She was the best......lol. Young girl and she knew what was up and didn't try to give me an attitude because of my coupons. Actually.....lol.....she looks like someone I know from online! Next time I go in maybe I'll just ask her if its her. Cant hurt. This Walgreen's is at Imperial and Atlantic Bl. in the city of Lynwood. This is maybe my third time going to this location and I have yet to have an issue with their employees or service to the customers. This store was clean, neat, and well lit.

Rite-Aid again (alondra & downey)

I honestly cant really belive that im posting on the same Rite-Aid again so soon, this not only proves the point i'm trying to make but emphasizes just how prevalent the problem is here in SoCal. Last night my sister goes into Rite-Aid for two Air-Wick FreshMaticatic Ultras (that are marked in the ad as %50 off ) and 2 of the $6 coupons that they just came out with in last Sundays paper and when she is in line the manager (yes the same one that wouldn't accept my Rite-Aid coupon) come and tells her " you cant get two of those, there is a limit of one!" Sister says, " well, the ad dosent say that so why cant I?"..... this punk ass manager says "well, i'm going to go write it on the tag right now!". My sister left with one and came and told me........okay, now they really are trippin! I went in this morning and hit then up , but the same manager was not in and i told the employees what happend and they agreed that that manager is out of control. So I just told them that I was contacting corporate about he situation, and they were basically like "good". I'll let you know how this one turns out.

Kroger "semi" resolution

Yesterday I finally got a reply back from the Kroger company! I really was not satisfied with the way they handled my complaint but at least I now have a copy of their coupon policy that says I can indeed use my Internet coupons even though it has some really stupid regulations on it, I'm gonna print it out and have it handy for the stores that wanna try to deny me savings. So for now I will probably go back to Food4Less but trust and believe I'm just waiting for them to start trippin on me. I may even venture over to Ralph's with their ridiculous coupon policy....... my thing all along has been not really knowing what I'm walking into beforehand. I'll keep you posted!

Ralph's Coupon Policy!!!!!

Just want to share my irritation with the coupon policy over at Ralph's!

First off, they advertise "Double Coupons Everyday!!!". I find this statement very misleading. Why, you ask? It seems that they only double up to a dollar and i thought that meant they would double my coupons face value up to a dollar....not so. If your coupons value is over fifty cents then you are NOT getting a "doubled coupon". Now I don't know about you all but my coupons are for a dollar or close to all the time so I really could never fairly get doubled coupons from them.

Secondly, they are running a "triple coupon event". Just refer to my rant about the double coupons and you will know why I'm irritated!!!!! The reality is, if your coupon is for 33cents or less then it will be tripled, this is true. I wish they wouldn't try to trick customers into the store with straight up bull like this.

Last but not least, if you are buying multiples and using coupons........just don't bother with this store. they will only "double" on the first one. Example.....getting 3 Colgate's using 3 coupons for 50 cents each, they will double the first one to $1 and the rest will be for face value! I think this policy and them suck!

I hope I'm able to help someone have a clear view on this, i wish i would have known instead of thinking they were one way and then being disappointed after trying to get my double coupon on with them.

UPDATE...... Food4Less (Bellflower)

Well, I've waited an entire week for some sort of response from the Food4Less/Kroger company. I've gotten nothing! So here is the new plan....lol. I intend to start shopping somewhere else even though i love Food4Less, but at this point there is a principal involved. Also, i will rewrite to the company and let them know that I'm done spending with them AND that i have a shopping blog that I'm using to inform the public about these kinds of situations. I realize this is semi underhanded, but I'm tired of the poor treatment..... I really am. It's crazy that all this is over coupons!!!! They are literally driving me into the arms of another supermarket......lol. Actually this may be just the thing for me. Sometimes i need a good push to make a change, so i'll look at it like that. The push i need!

So to sum it all up.....if you want to use your internet coupons, you may or may not be able to at Food4Less! So for this reason i am no longer shopping at Food4Less or Ralphs (Ralphs is a whole nother issue i'll adress in a different post!). Hopefully one day soon I will feel vindicated enough to go back because i do like the store. Until then though, I will get a chance to try some new ones, and maybe/probably find a new favorite!

Rite-Aid (Bellflower)

One week ago I went to Rite-Aid and sure enough I have a problem with my coupons. I had watched some videos on Rite-Aid's website. They were little commercials to earn internet coupons to use in their store. After completing a certain number of videos they "rewarded" me with a downloadable coupon for $5 off a $25 or more purchase!!! I though that's great. so i plan and scheme to get the most bang for my buck and go on over there. When i get up to the register the cashier takes my coupon and looks me up and down, then says "ill be right back" and she just walked away....quickly! Now I'm standing there feeling like Ive done something wrong because I'm buying diapers and toothbrushes. Eventually she comes back and says" I cant take this, I can only accept the original". I tell her that this is from their site and it was for me to print and bring in. She claims to know nothing about anything and so her manager comes up saying the same thing. Now anyone that knows me knows that I'm about my coupons and my money saving deals and all that jazz, that being said i had a great deal scenario mapped out just so i could use that dang coupon! at any rate I just had her take all but 2 items off and i came home and wrote to the company. The responded in a timely manner but when they called they were still trying to say it was somehow my fault because of the type of paper i printed it on ( a nice thick stationary type paper, in white) that's why the whole thing when down like it did. They offered me another $5 off $25 discount..............why does it have to be like this? Why cant i just assume that if Rite-Aid gives me a coupon to print, that i can also use it? Am I overreacting?

This trip was at the corner of........
Downey Blvd and Alondra Blvd in the city of Bellflower.

Food4Less (Bellflower)

Friday I went to Food4Less and once again they told me they do not accept internet coupons. This really irritates me because the truth is, is that's the way things are and any stores that don't want to get on board just are not about keeping the customers happy at all. The part that really gets me is that some Food4Less stores happily take my coupons without hesitation. Why should I have to drive a distance just to utilize all the savings i can? I shouldn't have to. So after this trip I came home and contacted the Kroger co, since Food4Less is in their fine family of stores. That was two days ago and the auto responder said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours!!!

Honestly the stores and the manufactures need to get together and get on the same page. It just doesn't make any sense to have useless coupons.

This trip was at the corner of.........
Lakewood and Rosecrans in the city of Bellflower.
I also have had this problem at the one on the corner of.........
Imperial and Long Beach Blvd in the city of South Gate.

introduction

Hello everyone, I'm creating this blog as a tool. What kind of tool can this be you may ask? Well, I am going to keep anyone that is interested, informed on bad customer service in and around the Los Angeles county. We have all had these experiences where we feel that we, the paying customer have been treated unfairly, and me personally have had enough! Enough of inconsistent store policies, bad customer service, stores that never seem to have their stock as it should be, and basically anything else that we the consumers are putting up with at these stores.
