Rite-Aid (Bellflower)

One week ago I went to Rite-Aid and sure enough I have a problem with my coupons. I had watched some videos on Rite-Aid's website. They were little commercials to earn internet coupons to use in their store. After completing a certain number of videos they "rewarded" me with a downloadable coupon for $5 off a $25 or more purchase!!! I though that's great. so i plan and scheme to get the most bang for my buck and go on over there. When i get up to the register the cashier takes my coupon and looks me up and down, then says "ill be right back" and she just walked away....quickly! Now I'm standing there feeling like Ive done something wrong because I'm buying diapers and toothbrushes. Eventually she comes back and says" I cant take this, I can only accept the original". I tell her that this is from their site and it was for me to print and bring in. She claims to know nothing about anything and so her manager comes up saying the same thing. Now anyone that knows me knows that I'm about my coupons and my money saving deals and all that jazz, that being said i had a great deal scenario mapped out just so i could use that dang coupon! at any rate I just had her take all but 2 items off and i came home and wrote to the company. The responded in a timely manner but when they called they were still trying to say it was somehow my fault because of the type of paper i printed it on ( a nice thick stationary type paper, in white) that's why the whole thing when down like it did. They offered me another $5 off $25 discount..............why does it have to be like this? Why cant i just assume that if Rite-Aid gives me a coupon to print, that i can also use it? Am I overreacting?

This trip was at the corner of........
Downey Blvd and Alondra Blvd in the city of Bellflower.
